JLGA has completed the design development and construction documents phases for a new Universal 3-K school on two floors of a newly built commercial building in the Borough Park neighborhood of Brooklyn. The program for this 30,300 SF early education center features 13 classrooms, two exercise rooms, kitchen facilities, and administration and service spaces.
In order to meet this project’s extremely tight, four-month design schedule, the design team implemented a highly effective, streamlined design and production process. This enabled JLGA to not only meet the critical design deadline, but ensure quality documentation, adhere to NYC SCA budget parameters and standards, and fulfill JLGA’s own goals for design excellence—even under the pressures of an ongoing pandemic.
