Long Beach Recreation Center

Jack L. Gordon Architects was selected to develop a design for a new Municipal Recreation Center project for the City of Long Beach, NY. JLGA provided architectural design services for the construction of a new recreation facility, as well as renovations to the existing Swimming Pool and Ice Arena.

The new building will be a community-oriented facility featuring a field house, basketball court, fitness center, meeting rooms, an indoor running track and a cardio-fitness deck with a spectacular view of Reynolds Channel. The new recreation center will incorporate several sustainable design approaches to create a healthier, more sustainable and more efficient facility that will consume fewer natural resources and will serve the Long Beach community for many years to come
