Ambulatory Care Practice

Ambulatory Care Practice

JLGA’s approach to this new ambulatory care center turned a structural challenge into a design opportunity during the programming and conceptual design phase. The overall geometry of the space was defined by interior walls that stand at 45-degree angles – which presented programmatic and layout obstacles and constraints.

Our team designed a solution for this unusual building. The spaces were divided into two wings, each with totally distinct programmatic functions: one dedicated to administrative space, the other to patient exam rooms and diagnostic facilities. The wings meet at the center, creating an equally accessible reception and waiting area at the facility’s entry.

In response to the client’s request to distinguish this new space from others in the building, JLGA’s aesthetic approach focused articulating a modern, clean, and functional layout with strategically placed accents of color, materials and finishes.
