Weill Cornell Medicine enlisted JLGA to transform existing laboratory spaces to house the hospital’s relocated Radiology Department. The renovation included wet labs, testing and microscopy rooms, as well as administrative offices.

The design prioritizes a bright, clean, and efficient environment for testing and procedures. The layout incorporates a connecting corridor that preserves the existing finishes, ensuring continuity with neighboring departments. Office spaces are designed with cool tones and modern finishes, creating a cohesive and professional atmosphere.

JLGA’s design approach maximizes the existing infrastructure, with minimal modifications to structural elements and services. The new program efficiently utilizes the space, placing laboratory areas on one side of the corridor and administrative offices on the other, ensuring a streamlined flow while maintaining optimal functionality.
