Pre-Surgery Intake and Reception

Existing reception, waiting area, and pre-op rooms that serve the ORs and PACU were completely renovated with a number of goals in mind: enhance efficiency, accommodate a growing number of patients, and provide a more pleasant and intuitive patient experience.

JLGA’s design reconfigured the existing program, including reception, waiting area, and pre-op rooms so that similar and related spaces were grouped together. This design solution allowed for larger pre-op rooms than had existed before, expanded storage space, and a more comprehensible circulation flow. Updated finishes integrated the look and feel of the unit with the overall aesthetic of the hospital.
